Since 2015, Air New Zealand has worked with an
external Sustainability Advisory Panel comprising international experts who challenge the company on all
aspects of its sustainability program and help set and
sharpen its eco ambitions.
Carbon is the most signifcant sustainability challenge, and Air New Zealand works to be world-class
in its approach to reducing emissions. Te airline invests in a modern and fuel-efcient feet and pursues
a raft of fuel savings measures. Over the past decade,
it has investigated renewable fuel alternatives and supported progressive climate policy development in New
Zealand, including the proposed Zero Carbon Bill. Te
